Copilot Cost Review
Take the Copilot cost figures you already have — from an invoice, a billing export or a finance spreadsheet — and turn them into a dated, management-ready review that separates what was supplied, what was calculated, what is missing and what you decided.
How this tool works
- You supply the records. Type them in, or open a CertPilot CSV you exported earlier. Nothing is uploaded.
- You declare the context. One organization or client label, one period, one currency, one financial basis and one tax treatment for the whole review.
- The tool does the arithmetic and the gap-finding. Totals, budget coverage, control-total comparison, missing owners, missing source references, unconfirmed dates.
- You record decisions. Accept as supplied, investigate, or correction needed — with a note, an owner and a due date.
- You keep the output. Print or save a PDF, download a CSV, or save a JSON review file you can reopen next period.
Where your figures go
They stay in this browser tab. This page is served as a sandboxed standalone document: it has no analytics, no cookies, no account check and no network channel back to CertPilot. Your records are held in memory until you download a file or close the tab.
This is a statement about what the application does, not a claim about your device, your browser extensions, your operating system's print service, or any folder you save files into. Closing the tab discards the working copy; it does not erase files you already saved.
Supported inputs and limits
- Currencies
- EUR, USD, GBP, RON. Two decimal places. No conversion between currencies and one currency per review.
- Financial basis
- Finalized bill, or provisional cost. One basis per review. These describe the status of the source you were given — they are not Azure Actual or Amortized cost semantics.
- Amount treatment
- Tax inclusive, tax exclusive, or unconfirmed. Declared once and applied to costs, budgets and the control total. No tax is calculated.
- Records
- Up to 1,000 cost rows per review. Nothing is sampled, truncated or hidden.
- File size
- Up to 5 MiB per imported CSV, UTF-8 encoded.
- File format
- The CertPilot CSV format for this tool. Excel workbooks, ZIP archives, PDFs and native Microsoft billing exports are not accepted in v1.
What this tool does not do
- It does not connect to Microsoft 365, Azure, or any billing API. It reads only what you supply.
- It does not verify that your figures are correct, complete, or that your scopes do not overlap. Only you can confirm that.
- It does not allocate cost to people, score employees, or inspect usage, prompts or responses.
- It does not issue invoices, cancel licences, or change anything in your tenant.
- It is not a compliance certification, an audit opinion, or financial advice.
