People & Accounts Register

CertPilot gives small teams a manual-first register for people and system accounts. It helps answer who exists, what accounts exist, and what still needs follow-up before access reviews, offboarding, or ownership questions turn into a scramble.

What it tracks

The register keeps practical people and account fields. It is intentionally manual first so teams can start from the records they already maintain.

People, work emails, departments, roles or titles, and person type
Person status, start dates, end dates, and notes
System accounts, account identifiers, and account creation dates
Account status, status change dates, and account notes
CSV import/export and an accounts matrix view

Main use cases

People and account data becomes useful when it connects everyday operations with the evidence trail leadership, clients, or auditors ask for.

Onboarding evidence

Keep a record of who was added, what role they hold, and which accounts were created for them.

Offboarding follow-up

Find people marked left or offboarding while account records still need status review.

Ownership records

Give assets, access reviews, and renewals a cleaner people context without waiting for directory sync.

Future reconciliation

Prepare a manual backbone for later access-review or connector reconciliation without claiming that sync exists today.

How it works

The workflow is deliberately simple. A small team can begin with one person, or import a spreadsheet and clean it up over time.

  1. 1Add people manually when the register starts small.
  2. 2Import a CSV when the team already has a spreadsheet.
  3. 3Maintain account records against each person.
  4. 4Use the accounts matrix to review people against systems.
  5. 5Export records when you need a portable copy.

Evidence value

People & Accounts helps answer a basic governance question: who exists, what accounts exist, and what still needs follow-up? It strengthens ownership evidence without pretending to be a directory connector.

A dedicated People PDF is not built today. The current value is the live register, matrix, CSV import, and CSV export.

  • Not HR software, payroll, or an employee record system of record.
  • Not employee monitoring, productivity scoring, activity tracking, or content access.
  • No Google Workspace, Microsoft 365, HR system, or identity-provider sync today.
  • No automatic offboarding or account removal actions.
  • No dedicated People PDF report today. The live surface is the register, matrix, import, and export.

Build the people and account evidence base first.

Start with customer-entered records, keep the account matrix current, and use the register alongside Access Reviews and Assets without granting CertPilot private directory access.

People & Accounts FAQ

Is People & Accounts connected to Google Workspace or Microsoft 365?

Does this replace Access Reviews?

Does this page claim a People PDF exists?

No. A dedicated People PDF report is not built today. The evidence value is in the live register, matrix, import, and export.
