How to read these recipes

These recipes describe how to build automations in Google Workspace Studio yourself. CertPilot does not connect to, authenticate against, or run anything in your Google Workspace. Every recipe uses only documented Workspace Studio starters and steps, links to Google's official source, and shows when it was last verified. Workspace Studio test runs take real actions — always test with safe data first.

How these recipes are built

Documented Workspace Studio capabilities, normalized into a practical build guide — never invented.

  1. 01Each recipe uses only starters and steps documented in Google's official Workspace Studio help — no invented capabilities.
  2. 02Every recipe is human-verified against that source, links to it, and shows when it was last checked. Anything unconfirmed is held back.
  3. 03Recipes are normalizedinto the same shape: starter, steps, variables, apps, a "Describe it with AI" instruction, prerequisites, limits, and a test procedure.
  4. 04The Flow Blueprint Builder composes a draft from your inputs using only those same verified building blocks — deterministically, never with AI.

Frequently asked questions

What is this?

A free library of verified Google Workspace Studio automation recipes for IT admins, helpdesk, security, lean IT teams, and MSPs — plus a builder that drafts a blueprint from your inputs.

Does CertPilot connect to my Google Workspace?

No. These are instructions and blueprints you build yourself in Google Workspace Studio. CertPilot does not connect to, authenticate against, read, or run anything in your Workspace.

Are the recipes accurate?

Every recipe uses only starters and steps documented in Google's official Workspace Studio help, links to that source, and shows when it was last verified. Anything unconfirmed is held back.

What is the 'Describe it with AI' instruction?

Google Workspace Studio can build a flow from a plain-language description you type into its 'Describe it with AI' box. Each recipe gives you a draft instruction to paste there. That Gemini feature is Google's — CertPilot's tools are not AI.

Will a test run affect real data?

Yes. Workspace Studio test runs take real actions — they really send messages, update files, and book meetings. Always test with safe or dummy data, a test recipient, and a test Sheet or Chat space first.

Can Workspace Studio create accounts or Chat spaces?

No. It cannot provision or deprovision Google Workspace accounts, and it cannot create a Chat space — recipes post to an existing space. These recipes record, notify, and organise; they do not change account permissions.
